Learning through play! Our play-based programs are designed through daily-themed activities, allowing children to engage socially, which we recognize as an important aspect of their early childhood development. Mango's daily activities include free play, circle time, science, and language. We also provide arts and crafts, as well as creative movement to music.

Play-Based Programs

Infant Island

6 weeks - 12 months; 1:5 ratio

Our focus for the infants includes: nurturing, comforting, play time, and providing a sense of security. The development of large motor skills is encouraged by the use of jumpers, tummy time, and exersaucers.

12 months - 18 months; 1:6 ratio

At the time of the child's first birthday, he or she will transition into our older infant classroom, which is equipped for crawling, climbing, walking, and exploring their surroundings. These children are provided with sensory and fine motor tools, building blocks, music, and exploring repetitive movements.

Individual infant schedules, in regards to eating, napping, and diapering, will be followed per the parent’s instructions. All toys, cribs, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis with hospital-grade, natural cleaning products.

Lil' Lagoon

18 Months - 3 Years; 1:7 ratio

In our toddler room, daily-planned activities meet the high energy needs of your children. It is filled with age-appropriate toys, and for those toddlers who are eager to participate in group activities and games, these encourage socialization. Your child's imagination is unleashed in a world of hands-on discovery through several methods, including painting, drawing, and crafting. Mango's Place emphasizes "process over product," which is vital to enhancing your child's creative spirit and self-expression. Creative movement to music is another favorite activity involving instruments, marching, dance, and singing.

Our toddlers will follow the Mango's Place schedule regarding snacks, meals, and naps (please see our Parent Handbook for more details). All toys, cots, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis with hospital-grade, natural cleaning products.

Junior Jungle

3 Years - 10 Years; 1:12 ratio

The Junior Jungle provides children, who are filled with adventure, with a place where they can enjoy a variety of activities, stretching their imaginations, and stimulating their curiosities. Our treehouse, where the children get to slide, climb, and explore the jungle, is a favorite attraction. They develop large motor skills there, as well as through running, outdoor play, and dancing.

Our full curriculum includes science, math, language skills, art, and music. In each of these disciplines, the child is brought into the make-believe and natural worlds through finger plays, songs, dramatic play, and word games.
