Mango's Place is a fun and safe environment for children between the ages 8 weeks and 10 years old to play, learn and explore. Children can create their master piece at craft time, learn new songs at music time, enjoy circle time with adventurous stories and make new friends during games and free play.
Our enthusiastic teachers are dedicated to providing a safe environment where all children are encouraged to use their imagination and explore the endless possibilities offered. We are committed to the growth of every child. Your child will be engaged in stimulating activities during their stay. Unlike a day care center, Mango’s Place needs only a reservation for the time needed, not a long term contract.
Mary Frances Curtis and Sunshine Diller started Mango’s Place in 2003. The concept of flexible hourly care sprung from their own childcare needs. As a mother who worked part time from home, Mary Frances needed a childcare for her young son a few times a week. Sunshine Diller was working at home with a toddler and needed a place to care for her daughter several times a month in order to attend meetings. Neither could find a child care solution that would allow for the flexibility they were seeking. As the two were talking one evening, Mary Frances shared her idea of hourly childcare with Sunshine, and over the next few days Mango’s Place was born. They developed and implemented services and policies that were based on meeting the needs of stay at home parents and those who work part time. Over the years Mango’s Place has been committed to making the changes parents request in order to serve them better.
